1. Service

oppoX is an open innovation marketplace connecting corporates posting anonymized challenges with startups applying to them. The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during this early-access phase.

2. Content ownership and license

You retain ownership of the content you submit (problem descriptions, applications, pitch decks, profile information). By posting a challenge, corporates grant oppoX a non-exclusive license to display the anonymized version of the brief publicly on the platform. By submitting an application, startups grant the corresponding challenge owner access to their application materials, including any attached pitch deck, for the purpose of evaluation.

3. No guarantee of matches

oppoX does not guarantee that a challenge will attract applications, that an application will be shortlisted, or that any pilot or contract will result from an intro. Any indicative pilot budget described in a challenge is provided by the posting corporate and are not underwritten by the platform.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the platform for spam, mass unsolicited outreach, scraping of challenges or applications, reverse engineering, or the submission of unlawful, infringing or misleading content. Accounts that violate these terms may be suspended or terminated without notice.

5. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, oppoX's liability is limited. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Alpha access and future fees

oppoX is 100% free for startups and corporates during Alpha. Corporates that join during Alpha keep free access through Beta. Startups will always use oppoX free of charge. After Beta, oppoX plans to charge corporates a success fee calculated as a percentage of a funded pilot, only when that pilot results from an oppoX introduction. The percentage and payment terms will be disclosed and agreed before any fee applies; these Alpha terms do not create a payment obligation.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Where legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction for disputes is Munich, Germany.

8. Changes

As these are early-access terms, they may change. Material changes will be communicated through the platform before they take effect.
